Further Features

Notifications
The app enables services to send tailored push notifications directly to users, including important updates, reminders, STI outbreaks, or new educational content.
Resources
The app serves as a centralised hub for sexual health information, allowing providers to upload and update educational materials, creating an accessible resource for users.
Security and Privacy
The eC-Card App is built on a secure, cloud-based platform with data encryption and exclusive customer access. Regular audits and compliance with GDPR and UK Data Protection standards ensure the protection of sensitive information.
Flexible Zones
Providers can set targeted zones, leveraging these to enable shared collection points, customise reporting, support arrangements, and manage multiple contracts within a single app.
Under-age Safeguarding
Following a discussion to assess appropriateness and competency, approved clinicians can grant under-age children access to the app and set limits on the number of products issued before requiring a further consultation.
Choice
Providers can now offer a range of sexual health products through the app, including condoms and lubricants. This flexibility allows for a personalised user experience tailored to individual needs, with the potential to expand offerings to include other sexual health-related items.
In Development
We continuously explore ways to enhance the eC-Card App based on user feedback and customer ideas. Potential future updates, may include the option to request products by post.
